I acted as a child and LOVED it but forgot about it, kinda thought that if you didn’t follow it up from the age of 12 and become a child star your options were over.
I always used to do the main parts till I hit senior school when we no longer did ‘plays’ but MUSICALS
now as a tone deaf individual, that was not good for me, so all future school acting was something i wouldn’t even waste my time auditioning for, I still curse my school for this.
But i digress…. The point is I recently came accross 3 adults who started acting as adults just for fun really, so I thought why not and i did my first class yesterday and I LOVED it,
really, we did lots of improvisations and it was so important to see the power of body language, silence, to convey emotion.
I think it’s going to teach me a lot about dealing with clients and life in general so whatever happens, i think it’s something great and more people should try!
On a side note I am thoroughly enjoying Moll Flanders at the moment, thanks tube strike for getting me back into reading, she’s on husband number 5 or 6 and child 6 or 7 and i’m only less than half way in!
